Roland Kincaid

Name: Roland Kincaid
Category: Human, Hero, Dream Warrior, American, Student, Survivor
Age: Late teens
Origin: Elm Street, Springwood
Habitat: Westin Hills psychiatric hospital
General Description: Kincaid’s parents along with the parents of other Elm Street children were responsible for burning Freddy Kruger alive when he was released from prison. Since then, Kincaid’s dreams were haunted by Freddy.
Friends, Associates, and Sidekicks: Nancy Thompson, Joey Crusel, Will Stanton, Taryn White
Sworn Enemies: Freddy Krueger
Special Powers: None in the real world. In the dream world, however, Kincaid is a strong man, able to demolish walls, bend metal, etc.
Weapons of Choice: Cast iron pipe...
Weaknesses: Not being strong enough to actually hurt anyone
Hobbies: Living up to African-American stereotypes with little regard for Martin Luther King, Jr.’s ideals
Pet Peeves: Being sedated and thrown into the quiet room
Best Lines:
1) Let’s go kick the motherfucker’s ass all over dreamland
2) It’s time to stop guessin’ and start messin’
3) Yo, Freddy! Where you hiding, you burnt-face pussy?
4) Let’s snuff the sucker
Total Estimated Power Rating: 6
3 Base Intellect Points + 2 Base Physical Power Points + 1 Additional Physical Power Points for when in Dream World
Power Level: Low. Although able to impress females with his dream world physique, Kincaid is rather useless against real monsters. Barks significantly more than bites. However, his imaginary super strength could be extremely handy if you were to need help moving some imaginary furniture in the dream world.
Identification: Kincaid is easy to spot – he and his family are the only African Americans to live on Elm Street.
How to Recruit: Kincaid pretends to be tough, but he is afraid of Freddy just like everyone else. He knows however that fighting alongside other Dream Warriors is his only option of living a normal live. Not to mention that backing out is a sign of weakness, and Kincaid is too macho to refuse a fight.
How to Stay on His Good Side: Pretend to be impressed with his imaginary physical feats.
What to Look Out For: Don’t really count on Kincaid. He can barely save himself, much less save anyone else.

BC, I am planning to do Parts 4-7 soon (within a year or so?) - I am not mentioning the fact that this character appears in Part 4, since this movie does not yet appear in the scroll down menu... In situations like this I usually wait until I feature all the movies where character appears, but I make exceptions (TV series, and multi-sequelled movies.)

Oh, and this site is not for profit - I don't collect Amazon percentage - I just promote the movies free of charge.

Kincaid is one of those characters
who are black and that is something
I am not impressed about because some of the black people are strange but not you Kincaid you were a good character until you got
killed by Freddy and Kincaid I will
miss you forever good luck.

Disregard that last comment "black people not impressive" I made on this page. I thought Kincaid was a very tough character despite being killed in Nightmare On Elm Street 4. But it was good he showed that courage with the those last words of his "I'll See You In Hell". He was one tough dude in Nightmare on Elm Street 3 as well taking care of business whenever he got the chance to. Now he is a character you don't want to get on the bad side of so I would make sure to stay on his good side. Out of 10 stars I give him a perfect 10 just because he was a great character in Nightmare on Elm Street 3 and 4. It was good Kincaid's soul was sent to the good dream realm after Freddy was killed cause Freddy got what he deserved. Bye Bye Kincaid you were a great character and that we will miss you being in those Nightmare Elm Street movies :).
