Joey Crusel

Name: Joseph 'Joey' Crusel
Category: Human, Dream Warrior, American, Student, Survivor
Age: Late teenage
Origin: Elm Street, Springwood
Habitat: Westin Hills psychiatric hospital
General Description: Along with the other Dream Warriors, Joey is one of the children whose parents burned Freddy Kruger alive, when this child murderer was released from prison on a technicality. A very nice and smart kid, Joey used to be a debater at school but lost his ability to speak after a gruesome encounter with Freddy in one of his nightmares.
Friends, Associates, and Sidekicks: Nancy Thompson, Roland Kincaid, Will Stanton, Taryn White
Sworn Enemies: Freddy Krueger
Special Powers: Joey is “blessed” with one of the most useless special powers among Dream Warriors - although speech impaired in the real world, in the dream world Joey is able to speak and can even produce a mirror shattering scream that helps him to kill monsters, helps him to summon help ...doesn’t really do anything.
Weapons of Choice: Screaming
Weaknesses: Inability to control his own sexual drive
Hobbies: Stalking hospital nurses
Pet Peeves: Having his body used by Freddy for scribbling messages addressed to Nancy Thompson
Best Lines: - Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Total Estimated Power Rating: 5
3 Base Intellect Points + 2 Base Physical Power Points + 0 Points for the Notorious Scream of Doom of Uselessness
Power Level: Low. Joey can be called a Dream Warrior only figuratively. A title of a Wet Dream Warrior is much more suitable in his case.
Identification: Usually hangs around any place frequented by females. Sometimes paints a teardrop on his cheek, hoping that some nurse would take pity on him and finally take his wretched virginity.
How to Recruit: Show him some boobies and Joey will do anything you want.
How to Stay on His Good Side: Do not stop showing him boobies.
What to Look Out For: With no boobies to look at, Joey has a tendency to wander off in search of them... Keep an eye on him before he gets in trouble.

Roland Kincaid

Name: Roland Kincaid
Category: Human, Hero, Dream Warrior, American, Student, Survivor
Age: Late teens
Origin: Elm Street, Springwood
Habitat: Westin Hills psychiatric hospital
General Description: Kincaid’s parents along with the parents of other Elm Street children were responsible for burning Freddy Kruger alive when he was released from prison. Since then, Kincaid’s dreams were haunted by Freddy.
Friends, Associates, and Sidekicks: Nancy Thompson, Joey Crusel, Will Stanton, Taryn White
Sworn Enemies: Freddy Krueger
Special Powers: None in the real world. In the dream world, however, Kincaid is a strong man, able to demolish walls, bend metal, etc.
Weapons of Choice: Cast iron pipe...
Weaknesses: Not being strong enough to actually hurt anyone
Hobbies: Living up to African-American stereotypes with little regard for Martin Luther King, Jr.’s ideals
Pet Peeves: Being sedated and thrown into the quiet room
Best Lines:
1) Let’s go kick the motherfucker’s ass all over dreamland
2) It’s time to stop guessin’ and start messin’
3) Yo, Freddy! Where you hiding, you burnt-face pussy?
4) Let’s snuff the sucker
Total Estimated Power Rating: 6
3 Base Intellect Points + 2 Base Physical Power Points + 1 Additional Physical Power Points for when in Dream World
Power Level: Low. Although able to impress females with his dream world physique, Kincaid is rather useless against real monsters. Barks significantly more than bites. However, his imaginary super strength could be extremely handy if you were to need help moving some imaginary furniture in the dream world.
Identification: Kincaid is easy to spot – he and his family are the only African Americans to live on Elm Street.
How to Recruit: Kincaid pretends to be tough, but he is afraid of Freddy just like everyone else. He knows however that fighting alongside other Dream Warriors is his only option of living a normal live. Not to mention that backing out is a sign of weakness, and Kincaid is too macho to refuse a fight.
How to Stay on His Good Side: Pretend to be impressed with his imaginary physical feats.
What to Look Out For: Don’t really count on Kincaid. He can barely save himself, much less save anyone else.

Movies and Books Featuring the Character:
- A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987)

Nancy Thompson

Name: Nancy Thompson
Category: Human, Student, Doctor, American, Hero, Dream Warrior, Survivor, Victim, Psychiatrist
Age: Born in the late 1960s
Origin: Springwood
Habitat: 1428 Elm Street... After her mother’s death Nancy wisely moved elsewhere.
General Description: Daughter of Lt. Thompson and one of the Elm Street children. Nancy started to encounter Freddy Krueger in her reoccurring nightmares by the time she reached high-school age. She was one of the first people to bring Freddy from the dream reality into this world and was even able to temporarily defeat him... once.
Friends, Associates, and Sidekicks: Lt. Thompson, Roland Kincaid, Joey Crusel, Will Stanton, Taryn White
Sworn Enemies: Freddy Krueger
Special Powers: Able to stay awake for 7 days straight. Expert familiarity with various booby traps and anti-personnel devices.
Weapons of Choice: Balinese Dream Techniques
Weaknesses: Nancy really misses her daddy and would forget all the necessary precautions if given an opportunity to experience even a smallest bit of paternal affection.
Hobbies: Psychiatry (she has a Ph.D in the field) and Survival Techniques
Pet Peeves: FDA... I mean seriously... how long will it take them to change the “experimental drug” status of Hypnocil? Nancy needs a container load of this stuff each year and no insurance company covers experimental drugs...
Best Lines:
1) Come out and show yourself, you bastard!
2) I take back every bit of energy I gave you. You’re nothing. You’re shit.
Total Estimated Power Rating: 10
6 Base Intellect Points + 2 Base Physical Power Points + 1 Weapon Points for Booby Traps + 1 Additional Point for Balinese Dream Skills and the Cojones Factor
Power Level: Medium. Nancy is a strong-willed individual capable of controlling her fears. When hyped up on caffeine she becomes fantastically efficient - being able to set up a number of complicated booby-traps, sweet talk an alcoholic mother to sleep, complete the Rubik’s Cube puzzle, make a delicious chicken pot pie, set up an alarm clock, and go into deep REM sleep all in under 10 minutes.
Identification: After one especially gruesome encounter with Freddy, Nancy developed a gray hair streak... We are not saying that every young lady with a gray lock of hair is necessarily Nancy, but one thing is for sure – every Nancy has a gray streak.
How to Recruit: When pursued by Freddy in one of your nightmares, scream Nancy’s name and she might join you. Not that she would be very helpful, but having her around is definitely more fun than facing Freddy alone.
How to Stay on Her Good Side: If she asks you to stay awake and keep an eye on her while she battles Freddy in the dream world – then for God’s sake - don’t fall asleep. Considering her ability to reach REM sleep stage within seconds it really shouldn’t be that complicated.
What to Look Out For: When Nancy is out of Hypnocil she refuses to sleep. Lack of sleep makes her quite cranky... So - keep her medicine bottle full.

Chris Higgins

Name: Chris Higgins
Category: Humans, Survivors
Age: Around 20 years old
Origin: Higgins Haven near Camp Crystal Lake
Habitat: Higgins Haven near Camp Crystal Lake
General Description: The only known person to have survived two encounters with Jason Voorhees, Chris was attacked by him when in her teens and then again two years later, when she came back to the Camp Crystal Lake area to confront her fears of Jason. Now that’s way more ironic than rain on the wedding day.
Friends, Associates, and Sidekicks: Rick and a bunch of other losers
Sworn Enemies: Jason Voorhees
Special Powers: Massive cojones. Chris doesn’t stop fighting even when confronted by truly monstrous opponents.
Weapons of Choice: Furniture, books, knife, wooden log, shovel, rope, axe – anything she can get her hands on. Unlike some of her predecessors Chris uses her wide arsenal of weapons with deadly efficiency.
Weaknesses: A little funny in the head after the most recent encounter with Jason Voorhees.
Hobbies: Hanging out with losers
Pet Peeves: Absence of objects to strike her opponents with.
Best Lines: - No! You can’t be alive!
Total Estimated Power Rating: 9
4 Intellect Points + 2 Base Physical Strength Points + 2 Weapon Point for wide arsenal of weapons + 1 Additional Point for the Cojones Factor
Power Level: High. Chris makes up for her lack of physical power with her ability to utilize any available object as a weapon. She might scream in fear but that would not prevent her from delivering a deadly blow.
Identification: Chris is a rather average girl and probably wouldn’t stand out in a crowd, but don’t let it fool you - when confronted by a deranged serial killer she has more chances to survive than most of us.
How to Recruit: Chris would not fight evildoers willingly. Which means that if you are in desperate need of her help, you need to make sure that she will not be able to avoid the skirmish – for example you could drain the gas out of her vehicle thus preventing Chris from simply driving away and forcing her to confront the unavoidable. Make sure that Chris has easy access to a wide variety of objects that could serve as a weapon.
How to Stay on Her Good Side: Make sure she understands that you could have been spending time with another girl and yet decided to be with her. For some reason it makes her feel special or something. You don’t even have to beat about the bush on this matter… Say something like – “I hope you understand that I could have been having sex with Jane Smith, but I decided to try to get you in bed instead.” Romantic, isn’t it? Actually, it isn’t, but it still works like a charm.
What to Look Out For: Please understand that it is impossible to face Jason twice and remain sane. Be gentle to Chris’s psyche – don’t try to scare her. You might think it’s an innocent prank, but if she reacts before she understands the humor of the situation, you might end up with more than just a bruised ego.

Ginny Field

Name: Ginny Field
Category: Human, Survivor
Age: Early 20s
Origin: Unknown
Habitat: Counselor training center near Camp Crystal Lake
General Description: One of many young people to attend councilor training near Camp Crystal Lake in the summer of 1985... And one of the only two to survive.
Friends, Associates, and Sidekicks: Paul the councilor trainer
Sworn Enemies: Jason Voorhees
Special Powers: Superior people impersonation skills. Also - excellent knowledge of Child’s Psychology - a useful skill when confronted by demented psycho killers.
Weapons of Choice: Chainsaw, chairs, machete, pitchfork... Anything that happens to be nearby, really. However she is not very effective with any of these weapons.
Weaknesses: For some strange reason, Ginny never finishes off her victims. She never even checks if they are actually dead. A trait she learned or regret.
Hobbies: Chess
Pet Peeves: Notoriously unreliable German cars with ignition problems.
Best Lines:
1) Paul, there is someone in this room. Paul there’s someone in this fucking room!
2) Jason. It’s all done, Jason. You’ve done your job well, and mommy is pleased. That’s a good boy. Now, come to mommy, come on. Come on. Mommy has a reward for you. Jason, mother is talking to you. Jason, mother is talking to you. Come on. That’s my boy. Come. Kneel down. That’s a boy. Kneel down. Kneel down, Jason. That’s my good boy. That’s a good boy. Good Jason.
Total Estimated Power Rating: 7
5 Intellect Points + 1 Base Physical Strength Points + 1 Weapon Points for the variety of weapons Ginny clumsily attempts to use
Power Level: Low. Ginny’s intelligence often allows her to gain an upper hand in difficult situations; however her limited physical strength cancels out any advantage she is able to gain in this manner.
Identification: Extremely hard, especially if she is impersonating your mother.
Most people cannot tell the difference. If your mother behaved strangely lately – she might actually be Ginny Field pretending to be your mother.
How to Recruit: Tell her about your relationship with your mother and give her a chance to psychoanalyze you...
How to Stay on Her Good Side: Fix her Volkswagen and loose to her in chess a couple of times.
What to Look Out For: If you talk about your mother too much, Ginny might gain enough insight to impersonate her and use it to her advantage. Keep your childhood testimonies simple.

Paxton

Name: Paxton
Category: Hero, Human, Survivor
Age: Early 20s
Origin: America
Habitat: European Hostels, Bars, and Discos

Friends, Associates, and Sidekicks: Josh and Oli
Sworn Enemies: All members and associates of the Elite Hunting Club in general, and The Dutch Businessman in particular.
Special Powers: Fluent knowledge of German language
Weapons of Choice: Pistol
Weaknesses: Overwhelming guilt for not rescuing a drowning girl many years ago is one of the driving forces behind his actions... Very stupid and risky actions, that is.
Hobbies: Sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll
Pet Peeves: Fanny-Packs
Best Lines:
1) Do you see a single other person in here with a fucking fanny pack? Wait, there's a guy. Why don't you go over there and have fucking fanny back sex with him, and then you can jizz all over each others storage compartments?
2) I hope bestiality is legal in Amsterdam, because that girl's a fuckin' hog.
Total Estimated Power Rating: 9
4 Intellect Points + 3 Base Physical Strength Points + 1 Weapon Points for the Pistol + 1 Additional Points for the Cojones Factor
Power Level: High. Paxton is not afraid to kill his enemies, avenge his hardships, and use any weapon that happens to be at his disposal. A formidable opponent for a run-of the-mill villain.
Identification: On his recent trip to Eastern Europe Paxton lost two fingers during an elite hunting accident. If you see a young drunken vegetarian in some European whore house, and he happens to have 3 fingers on one hand - you can be sure that it's Paxton.
How to Recruit: Ask him to help you and make sure that he understands that if he doesn’t – he will regret it for the rest of his life. Paxton will do anything to avoid guilt fueled nightmares. If you also mention that there's going to be lots of booze and girls – he’ll be on your side before you are able to finish reading this sentence.
How to Stay on His Good Side: Being a powerless female really helps. Paxton will project his guilt onto you and would never leave you behind.
What to Look Out For: His libido is extremely powerful and often overpowers all thoughts and emotions. Make sure he understands when it's time to party and when it's time to kill.

Judy Cassidy

Name: Judy Cassidy
Category: Human, Survivor
Age: Late teens (exact age unknown)
Origin: Unknown
Habitat: Hull house
General Description: A sweet all American girl next door, who is not afraid to use an improvised flamethrower when cornered by the demonic beings. Definitely someone you’d want to have on your side when partying in the Hull House.
Friends, Associates, and Sidekicks: Rodger... not a very useful friend, but can lend a hand or serve as a cushion at times.
Sworn Enemies: Suzanne, Angela, Stooge
Special Powers: Unwavering optimism
Weapons of Choice: Improvised flamethrower
Weaknesses: Limited physical power
Hobbies: Screaming
Pet Peeves: Climbing on barbed wire
Best Lines: - It smells like roses
Total Estimated Power Rating: 7
3 Intellect Points + 2 Base Physical Strength Points + 1 Weapon Points for the Flamethrower + 1 Additional Point for the Cojones Factor
Power Level: Medium. She might seem fragile and fearful, but Judy is capable of defending herself and others even against greater odds, especially when cornered.
Identification: While most of us agree that Judy’s most memorable feature is her personality, her little brother insists that the easiest way to identify her is by her big cha-chas. Disturbing…
How to Recruit: Ask her out on a date. All-American girls never refuse a polite date invitation. As long as you are an All-American boy of course.
How to Stay on Her Good Side: Don’t try to kill her. You don’t even need to be helpful – she’ll like you anyway just because you are not a monster.
What to Look Out For: Judy is not going to demonstrate her inner strength until cornered. If you attempt to protect her, she would fall apart and become a screaming dead weight waiting for a big strong man (or woman) to rescue her. Don’t let her go girly on you like that. Start crying and whining until her self-defense mechanism kicks in and she finally takes charge.
